Feels like I have tiny fuzzies all over my face

If you've experienced wiping your hands on a towel that lets out its towel fuzzies/fibers onto your hand and then you apply topicals to your skin and feel the fuzzies against your face, this is the same feeling. I personally didn't like it as it felt like my face was full of the fibers. Therefore, I do recommend this as an exfoliant, but to rinse off after use, so more so as a cleanser. It is scentless and a milky white coloring. Made in Korea and box was sealed prior to use.

Gentle exfoliator that doesnโ€™t irritate my skin.

The media could not be loaded.

I have dry, sensitive skin, so Iโ€™m always careful about the products I use on my face. Before this, I had only tried one exfoliator and it left my skin feeling very dry, so I was hesitant to try another one. I decided to give this one a chance because rice-based products have worked well for me, and it feels very gentle on my skin. It doesnโ€™t irritate or leave my face red. As I massage it in, it forms small, soft flakes, and after rinsing my skin feels smoother and looks more even. I havenโ€™t been using it for very long, but so far I really like how it leaves my skin. It doesnโ€™t leave that tight or dry feeling, which is very important to me.

Gentle exfoliating serum

For reference, I have sensitive skin that tends to be a little more on the dry side.I love that the serum doesnโ€™t have any fragrance to it. It blends well with your other facial products without the extra scent. The exfoliant feels very gentle on your skin and isnโ€™t uncomfortable when rubbing it in. It is a very gentle exfoliant, so if youโ€™re looking for something a little more intense, this isnโ€™t it.It easily washes off of your skin.My skin wasnโ€™t red or irritated after use. Nor did it feel overly dry. This is great for those with very sensitive skin.I personally do not love the way the serum looks, if you know what I mean, but thatโ€™s not affecting the overall quality.

Barrier-Friendly Exfoliation for Sensitive Skin

This one was a bit meh for me personally, though I can absolutely see how it could be helpful for the right person. I use a non-rinse exfoliating acid treatment a few times a week that keeps my skin smooth and clear of buildup, and my skin is fairly resilient. Because of that, this didnโ€™t add much to my routine. Even so, I did give it a fair try and tested it on four different occasions. The texture is lightweight and creamy with a bit of slip. It doesnโ€™t have much body, so itโ€™s on the runnier side, but itโ€™s not sticky at all and is completely fragrance free. It comes in a nice glass bottle with a very long dropper, although no matter how much I squeezed, I could only ever get the dropper about half full. However, since I only needed a half dozen drops for my whole face, that didnโ€™t really matter in the long run - in light of that though, the super long dropper seems oddly out of place here. This serum is designed to be massaged into the skin and then rinsed off with water. As you massage it in, the cellulose in the formula balls up and provides a very gentle physical exfoliation. Itโ€™s important to note that what youโ€™re seeing roll up is the cellulose itself, not bits of dry skin being exfoliated away. Despite the name, youโ€™re not going to see a dramatic peeling effect with this, even though itโ€™s called a peeling ampoule. Please donโ€™t be put off by the fact that this is a physical exfoliation. This is nothing like harsh apricot or walnut shell scrubs. Thereโ€™s no gritty or scratchy feeling at all. If I had to compare it to something, it feels more like gently rubbing your face with well-moistened toilet paper. It rinses away cleanly and left my face feeling fresh without any irritation. Ingredient-wise, thereโ€™s a lot to like, including several ferments, rice seed water, and madecassoside, which are great for soothing and supporting the skin barrier. This has a skin friendly pH of right around 5, which makes it perfect for sensitive skin.Even though this isnโ€™t something Iโ€™ll reach for regularly, it worked exactly as described. If youโ€™re sensitive to acids, dealing with a compromised skin barrier, or looking for a very mild physical exfoliant that wonโ€™t irritate your skin, this could be a good option to try.

Nice Exfoliating skin cleanser

This is a great skin cleanser, you put it on in circular motion and clean it off. You can feel the little exfoliating things in the mix. My skin feels smooth after use. I do wish it was more of a peel mask, as thatโ€™s how I assumed it would be with peeling in the name. Overall itโ€™s a great product.

Good alternative to Dr. Melaxin

Letโ€™s just cut straight to what everyone wants to know โ€” how does it stack up to the Dr. Melaxin one? Iโ€™d say theyโ€™re comparable and this is a better value (you get more product for less money). The formula of this one is thinner but it seems to take off the same amount of dead skin in the comparison tests Iโ€™ve done on myself. Neither of these products are going to actually remove your blackheads like influencers keep saying (the only product Iโ€™ve found that REMOVES blackheads is the Ilso sebum softener & then you use a scraper tool to actually remove the blackheads โ€” but I donโ€™t recommend that to people, esp younger people, because itโ€™s EASY to overdo it with that and seriously damage your skin if you donโ€™t know what youโ€™re doing) but properly exfoliating is the best thing you can do towards getting rid of them and keep them from reforming. Not that anyone asked, but in my opinion the biggest problem I see with most of my fellow Americanโ€™s skin is not regularly GENTLY exfoliatingโ€ฆ most people want to do a really harsh exfoliant that scrapes up their skin like once a month, which causes damage and puts them in a bad cycle with their skin. Regular gentle exfoliation with a product like this (2-3x a week) is going to help your skin recover and heal while getting rid of the things that clog it up (dead skin, sebum, dirt, waste products) and cause skin ailments. This ampoule does a good job of fully getting rid of everything that needs to come off without stripping my skin or damaging my moisture barrier. I would recommend it and think this is a good alternative to Dr Melaxin for those who are money-conscious like me!

Gentle, Brightening & Effective!

I think by now everyone knows about the brightening and refreshing effects of rice on the skin. I got the Mixsoon White Rice Peeling Ampoule at the right season and started using it regularly to prepare my skin for summer. The product gently exfoliates, removes dead skin cells, and leaves my skin looking brighter, fresher, and smoother. Its texture is very light, it has no overpowering scent, and it didnโ€™t cause any irritation on my sensitive skin.Iโ€™ve always been a bit cautious about using peeling products in the summer because of the higher risk of sun-induced spots, so I waited for the right time. With regular use, I really noticed visible brightness and a whitening effect. Even though itโ€™s now winter, I didnโ€™t skip my sunscreen afterward. Despite my sensitive skin, I experienced no discomfort at all. Iโ€™m definitely satisfied and will continue using it. It works especially well in winter alongside my moisturizer.

Unscented but leaves residue, messy to use

This review is for mixsoon White Rice Peeling Ampoule - White rice exfoliant, Gentle Exfoliating Serum for Smooth, Radiant Skin, Dead Skin Cells Remover 100ml / 3.38 fl.oz. Korean Glass Skin Care, which is made in Korea.I used the black version of this before so I had some idea of how it would perform. The liquid here is thick and has a fine grit in it that you massage in to exfoliate the skin. The liquid thickens slightly and forms little globs, but not as much as the black version does. The globs do make a little bit of a mess so be careful when washing off. I prefer to wipe them off with a wet wipe first as Iโ€™m concerned about the buildup in the sink drain with repeated use.The product left a little residue on the skin so I had to use a cleanser afterwards. It also does not tell you WHEN to use this product? Are you supposed to use it before a cleanser or after? I cleansed my face first and then used this but when I washed off the globs of product it left a residue on my face so I had to cleanse again. At a price of $40.00 for 3.38 oz, I think this is pretty expensive and it was not a good value for the money for me personally, although I love Mixsoon products. The mess and extra steps made it lose a star for me.I did not experience any irritation when using the product and you can see the ingredient list in the final image.

Nice gentle physical exfoliant

This is a really interesting exfoliating ampoule. I got both the White Rice and Black Rice versions. The white rice one seems to have slightly harder physical exfoliant particles. I used them immediately after cleansing because I wasn't sure which step I was supposed to use them at but the instructions indicate they need to be rinsed off after use so I wanted to do it before toner or anything else I wanted to fully absorb into my skin. I don't know if you're really supposed to use both the White and Black versions in the same skincare routine, either, but my skin was extremely smooth and soft afterwards so I'm not bad about it even though I don't typically use physical exfoliants on my face. These are made in Korea, where they have very high standards for manufacturing and ingredients in cosmetics.

Gentle, Hydrating, and Effective

This ampoule turned out to be a wonderful surprise -- much more like a lightweight hydrating serum than a typical exfoliant. The texture is thin and silky, gliding over the skin effortlessly without leaving any residue or tackiness. I really appreciate that it relies on rice-based ingredients instead of strong acids. It reminds me of a J-beauty exfoliant I used to use which was similar -- you massage, then dead skin rolls off. Anyway, each time I massage it in, it feels soothing and never triggers irritation, tightness, or redness. After rinsing, my skin feels clean, soft, and refreshed, with a smoother surface that looks refined rather than overly polished. I also notice that my skin stays moisturized longer on days I use it.The combination of Mixsoon peeling ampoule softens dry areas while gently lifting buildup, and the soy proteins seem to gradually improve my skinโ€™s texture. Even when my skin is a little on the sensitive side, it never stings or causes discomfort. With steady use, my complexion looks brighter and more even. This has quickly become the exfoliating step I use when I want something reliable yet gentle enough for frequent use. It layers easily into my routine and keeps my skin looking calm, hydrated, and clear.Overall Iโ€™m impressed. It performs beautifully, has no fragrance (a huge plus for sensitive skin), and leaves the skin soft and nourished. For the quality, the price feels completely reasonable. Mixsoon continues to be one of my go-to K-beauty brands and this product is another winner in my book.

Gentle for my dry skin, no fragrance

My skin has been really dry lately from the change in season to the colder weather and Iโ€™ve been really struggling with my regular exfoliator (actually I use the Mixsoon bean oil to exfoliate but itโ€™s too drastic to my skin barrier right now to be removing filaments.) This gentle exfoliator somehow manages to make my skin feel very soft and smooth yet not totally irritated and stripped. I donโ€™t know if itโ€™s the product bunching on contact with skin oils or dead skin or both but it quickly creates a gentle exfoliation and when you rinse it off it feels really soothed. I love that this doesnโ€™t have an added fragrance so itโ€™s perfect for sensitive skin. I would definitely buy this again.

Gentle exfoliant with great natural ingredients. Skin after use was noticeably brighter/very soft.

I am a big fan of this Korean exfoliating ampoule. The first listed ingredient is rice seed water, which is known for its hydrating, brightening, and soothing properties. My skin is sensitive and prone to redness. Using this provided a very gentle and soothing exfoliation. After use the redness in my skin was less pronounced and my skin was very soft and hydrated. I like to incorporate an exfoliant into my skin care routine, but, because my skin is so sensitive, I stay away from anything abrasive so this product was a perfect fit for me. The bottle is 3.38 ounces, and will last me a while using this daily. Considering the ingredients and the noticeable effects from this product, I consider it a good value at $40, which was the cost at the time I selected it. However, checking the price today, I saw that this is on sale for $24, which is such a great deal that I bought a second one!

Four-and-a-half stars; Excellent, but dropper doesn't work well

mixsoon White Rice Peeling Ampoule - White rice exfoliant is a fairly viscous white liquid that is delivered by a very long dropper. I seem to be having problems with droppers lately--this one as well. This dropper refuses to pick up very much liquid, so I have to dunk it in the bottle about three or four times to get enough liquid to cover my face. When I do get enough liquid, however, it works. This peeling ampoule, as it is referred to here, is highly effective. It is one of the products that, when rubbed on skin, begins to pill up. This serves as a facial exfoliator. The mixsoon ampoule takes a few seconds of gentle massage to get it started, but eventually the liquid starts turning into tiny balls of semi-solidified product and the true exfoliation begins! I continue massaging the remaining liquid and the soft rolls against my complexion, until I am pretty sure I have massaged my entire face. This only needs to be rinsed off with water. My skin loves this particular ampoule. My face feels so soft after I use it, and more importantly, NOT dry. This peeling ampoule also takes care of some dry patches of skin, and assists in exfoliation. Is this worth the price point? I am not sure. This is a very good product, but I believe it is slightly overpriced, given the difficulty with the dropper. I think that the dropper should work smoothly and efficiently when charging higher prices. The packaging is muted, and the bottle itself is discreet. But certainly I think that I should be able to pull the dropper out with enough product for my entire face!I would give this product four-and-a-half stars, with the half off for the price and the irritating dropper. However, if you need an excellent and gentle peeling exfoliant, I do recommend this.

Very gentle exfoliation

I use the dropper to put about a quarter size amount in my hand. Then I massage it into y face gentle for about 5 minutes. Then, I rinse with slightly warm water and pat dry. Itโ€™s a gentle exfoliation and great for even sensitive skin like mine. I really love the quality of the mission products, one of my favorite k-beauty brands. Manufactured Sept 29, 2025 and expires Sept 28, 2028.
