Addressing Multiple Skin Concerns All at Once

Combining advanced technology with potent ingredients to deliver deep hydration, skin firming, and soothing care. Infused with Centella Complex, Peptides, and PDRN, this serum targets sensitive, dull, and aging skin by improving elasticity, reducing irritation, and boosting collagen production.

Targeted, Deep Penetration

The Hyaluronic Coated Spicules in this product allow it to deeply penetrate the skin, opening it up for better absorption of beneficial ingredients. This results in more effective hydration and nourishment, with visible skin transformation.

Gentle Yet Powerful

Designed for sensitive skin, the Peptide Cica Hyalshot 350 combines gentle care with intensive results, reducing irritation while delivering powerful soothing and firming benefits, especially for weakened skin conditions.

Triple Core Ingredients

The formula features a powerful blend of Centella Complex, Peptide, and PDRN to deliver multi-layered care. Centella Complex soothes and heals, while Peptide firms and improves elasticity, and PDRN provides deep hydration and skin barrier care.

Patented Hyaluron Technology

The product contains Patented Hyaluron, which helps enhance skin vitality and provides deep, long-lasting moisture. It’s designed to improve skin health by replenishing hydration and strengthening the skin barrier for a smooth, healthy glow.

Centella Asiatica Extract: This is the star ingredient, known for its exceptional soothing properties. It helps calm irritated skin, reduce redness, and support the skin’s natural healing process. Its high concentration (200,000ppm) delivers effective relief for stressed, dry, and sensitive skin.

Panthenol: Locks in moisture, strengthens the skin’s barrier, and supports hydration for a smoother, more balanced complexion.

Glycerin: Attracts moisture to the skin, keeping it hydrated, plump, and soft.

Hydroxyethylcellulose: A plant-derived ingredient that provides a smooth, non-slip texture to the sheet mask, ensuring it adheres well to the skin. It helps create a moisture barrier, locking in the hydrating essence and enhancing absorption.

I’ve been using this for roughly a week as part of my night time skincare routine and I have to say I’m impressed so far. Skin feels hydrated and looks more radiant in the morning. I use it as a serum after my ampoule and it has slotted into my existing routine perfectly. You only need one pump so great value for money and the tingling sensation is there but mild enough that it isn’t off putting over all my skin looks and feels better.

Obsessed with the tingling sensation

I swear you can feel it working–it’s like a thousand tiny little needle pricks, but not actually painful (though, your tolerance may vary). Do note that if you layer another serum or cream on top too soon after applying, it can take those little pricks up to a full stinging sensation—so, you probably want to wait a bit. For that reason, you definitely want to apply this at night, as it might be too intense with daytime sunscreens/cosmetics.Love it—wholeheartedly recommend!

Works great on its own & increases absorption and effectiveness of other skincare/masks!

Works great and Mixsoon is definitely a brand I trust. It’s definitely comparable with the VT Cosmetics Cica Reedle Shots and if you’ve never used them before, yes, you do feel the little reedles a bit (I think it feels like a pinch; my boyfriend who’s a little more sensitive in his face says they hurt) but just while you’re doing your skincare and not afterwards. I use this product first (even before toner) and it makes all of your skincare more effective and penetrate deeper; I especially like these for helping hyperpigmentation products like TXA penetrate deeper into your skin and work better. This product has hyaluronic acid for hydration, PDRN for glow, and Cica for calming irritation. It’s very easy to use, at nighttime just pump it out and smooth it into your skin all over your face like any other serum, there’s nothing you have to do special for the little reedles to work. The reedles don’t cause irritation or damage to your skin (in fact, my skin has never looked better since I started using this) and they come out naturally when your skin sheds. They’re microscopic so you’ll never see them. And I was worried that my makeup would be more likely to clog my pores or something if I used this but I’m happy to say that doesn’t happen either (makeup actually goes on more smoothly and I love how I have a natural glass skin glowiness underneath). The bottle lasts for a long time too, 1-2 pumps is all you need to cover your face and you only need to use at night (I don’t typically use every single night unless my skin really needs an extra boost). Oh, and this is GREAT to use before a face mask too as it will also greatly improve the effectiveness of your mask ingredients.

Firms skin, lightweight but use cautiously

Usage is a little confusing on this product-- I went directly to the company site and the How To was for a different product (face wash?). On another big US beauty retailer site, it said something about rolling it over the face. The product packaging itself just says to apply an appropriate amount without saying whether it's best for AM, PM, or both. This is a pump dispenser, so no rolling. I dispensed it on the back of my hand before applying to my face. I wasn't sure what to expect but there were tingles-- if you haven't used the reedle shots or similar products, it might be best to patch test this. I have other toning shots so while the sensation wasn't expected, it didn't alarm me. It absorbed almost instantly with no tackiness with my skin feeling slightly firmer. Has ingredients that overlap with products in my regular routine (niacinamide, centella asiatica, propanediol, hyaluronic acid, madecassic acid) so I'd need to adjust my routine to add this in to the mix. Does contain ethylhexyl palmitate, so would be aware of the possibility of breakouts if you have sensitive or acne prone skin since it's comedogenic.

Spicules like microneedles

This is my second brand of spicule serum. I typically use medicube. For this one, I follow the same routine. I apply this after toner. The prickly feeling is strong and takes a while to get used to. I typically use the 100 so this is a higher level for me. It will continue to be prickly as long as you keep touching your skin. This product has no fragrance. It has ingredients that are moisturizing for the skin. It didn’t leave my skin feeling irritated or give me any redness. I follow up with a spray ceramide mist after because I don’t like feeling the prickly feeling all over again. I alternate this with retinol everyday. There isn’t a tacky or sticky feeling after it dries down. I wake up to soft skin that looks hydrated and moisturized.Overall I think it is a great value for the price and function of the product.

a spicule serum with less sensitivity!

I'm pretty experienced with using spicule serums, and actually microneedle once a month, but lately I went a bit overboard on a super-strong spicule serum and ended up with more sensitivity than I wanted. I ordered this hoping I could still incorporate spicules weekly, but without overdoing it.This serum has a light texture that spreads well and to me, the spicules are definitely there but feel mild compared to stronger serums. It is fragrance-free, always a win to me but especially with spicules as I firmly believe the two don't really mix. The addition of peptides is a nice touch; no need to apply a separate peptide serum! Also, I know that centella is a hit-or-miss ingredient for some, but my skin finds it soothing so the incorporation of it into this serum is likely part of what makes it so non-irritating. After absorption, this does not feel filmy or sticky on my skin.I got the 350 version (a stronger concentration of spicules) but they also offer a 100 version. I'd recommend the 100 version first to anyone brand-new to spicules.

Very interesting serum....

Okay so when I first got this item I thought it was a regular serum. I used it like one where I washed my face did my regular skin care routine and applied this last. It felt weird when applying it because there as a tingling sensation almost like a little needles in my face.I went back and looked at the listing and realized it was a Micro-Spicule serum which is meant to open up your pores so that product can penetrate better. There are different strengths, this is 350 which to my understanding is not a starter dose. 150 might be better to start with especially if you have sensitive skin. That being said make sure you test this in a small area before use. My skin can be pretty sensitive at times but I was able to tolerate this without any irritation.Overall I really like this serum and the idea behind this technology. My skin feels and looks great adding this to my skincare routine. Once again if you do try this make sure to test it first.

I use it sparingly, in a split routine.

I wasn't sure what the "350" refers to in the product name, but it appears to be the length of the spicules in micrometers, which is similar to how other products also measure their versions. The range seems to go from 100 to 1500 with 500+ being in clinical territory. This is my first time using such a product, as far as I can recall in recent memory. (To be fair, I go through hundred and hundreds of serums a year, so my memory fades). Either way, this one at 350 might seem to be potent but I didn't find it overly aggressive, even with a full application. However, it is a bit much for my oily skin unless used sparingly after cleansing, and without adding additional layers right away. So I am using this actually more as a separate early evening application, about 4 hours before my PM routine, to split things up a bit.It was also mentioned that the Mixsoon website has a ton of information on this product, and I agree. It's worth looking up, definitely. In thinking about cost, I feel the price can be justified not just by the spicules but also the peptides and multiple centella extracts.

OK for sensitive skin with careful use

I was excited but a little nervous to try the mixsoon Peptide Cica Hyalshot 150. I've been wanting to try a spicule serum, but since I have sensitive skin and rosacea, I really wasn't sure if I could tolerate this type of product. After testing it out, I do like this serum, but I will only use it for targeted treatment. This product is very lightweight and not at all sticky. When I applied this serum for the first time, I only did so in a small area, given my concerns about my skin's sensitivity. I almost immediately felt the tingly or "spicy" sensation other reviewers noted. It wasn't painful, but it was a little disconcerting as someone with sensitive skin--usually that feeling means a product is going to be very hard on my skin. It was hard not to worry; even though I know this is a very different type of product, it's hard to shake those associations from past products. Fortunately, it really was just the serum working as it should. My skin felt soft afterwards, and I had no redness, itchiness, or irritation. My skin did feel a bit sensitive, but there were no visible signs of that. After trying this product a couple times now, I like it, but I don't think I can use it all over my face. I think my skin is just too sensitive for that. I'm using it as a spot treatment for areas I'm most concerned about, specifically, a large area of discoloration on the side of my face. My fear is that if I use this all over, it will compromise my skin barrier and I'll have a major rosacea flare. However, my rosacea is confined to the sides of my nose, my nostrils, and the apples of my cheeks. I've been careful to avoid those areas and instead focus on where I have the most discoloration, and that seems to be working so far. I will definitely keep using this product in this way once or twice a week.As a final note, I'll add that the packaging is gorgeous, and this is a generously-sized bottle. I feel like this product delivers a lot of value for the price point.

Lightweight, soothing, and easy to wear

This serum feels gentle from the very first application. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave any sticky or greasy residue, which makes it comfortable to wear even during the day. The texture is light, and it works well under other skincare or makeup. One thing that stands out is how calm the skin feels after applying it. The formula seems thoughtfully made—no fragrance, no irritation, and it layers nicely. Over time, it helps keep the skin feeling hydrated and soft, especially in areas that tend to get dry or tight. For anyone who prefers simple, clean skincare without unnecessary extras, this one fits well.

Innovative hyaluronic acid spicule ampoule treatment for dry skin

I have sensitive, combination skin that has been dehydrated lately, and I’ve been looking for something to deliver deep moisture to my face. This was my first experience with spicule skincare. The Hyalshot is a milky colored gel serum that feels almost like fiberglass as you glide it over your skin. The sensation stops once it’s applied and there is no lasting irritation. I follow it with a mild and nourishing skin barrier repair moisturizer. I could feel the spicules when I touch my face with my fingers but I was able to sleep comfortably with no tingling feeling as I tossed and turned on my pillow. It felt like the spicules had migrated on the hand I used for the first application. I felt some slight irritation in the webbing between my fingers, but the sensation was no longer present by the morning. I used a cotton pad instead of my fingers to gently apply it after that. It has been effective at minimizing the enlarged pores and plumping fine lines on my forehead. The product comes in a pretty mirror bottle inside a sealed box. The pump works well for dispensing and the amount you receive is substantial, so it’s a good value.

My first encounter with ~spicy~ skincare

Okay, so I’m extremely new to both skincare and Korean beauty, and I’ve recently had the opportunity to try a number of products from mixsoon including this one. By the time they all arrived it was sort of a blur in my memory as to what did what, so I read the label on this one. Okay, apply after cleansing, got it.I pumped out a reasonable amount onto my hand (very easy to do, the bottle is well designed to dispense the perfect amount) and started applying it to my face. It felt light but moisturizing, and at first I thought it was another sort of serum. Then things got TINGLY.I was not expecting spicy bitey skincare so I panicked thinking I was having an allergic reaction and quickly washed off and slapped on a bit of my go-to serum and decided I’d done enough experimenting for one day. Then I went to see if other people had experienced the same spicy tingling, and learned that it’s SUPPOSED to do that. Microscopic stabby bits poking into my skin to get the product deeper into my skin? Wasn’t there a whole Star Trek episode about that? I continued eyeing the bottle with suspicion and read on about spicule serums. Still dubious, but the following night I plunked up my courage and did a whole ROUTINE. Oil cleanser, foam cleanser, toner, ~spicy serum~, essence, cream. Look at me all fancy and stuff! This time I knew to expect the tingling, and since I wasn’t panicking at the thought of having acquired yet another allergy, I found it… not exactly pleasant, but not bad either? It was just a little bit of tingles and it settled down pretty quickly, especially once I got the essence and cream over the top.As for effectiveness… I’ve used it a few times since, and my skin does seem to be looking a little smoother and the skin feels soft and supple. My understanding is that this one is gentle enough to be used a few times a week or perhaps even daily, so I expect I’ll see how effective it is fairly soon.It certainly IS effective at tingling and startling the heck out of me the first time I used!

Skin Care’s Silver Bullet: Mixsoon Offers Deep Hydration, a Gentle Lift, and a Healthy Glow

Mixsoon’s Peptide Cica Hydrashot aims squarely at the aspirational tier of Korean skincare—delivering performance that brushes up against premium expectations without chasing prestige pricing. Marketed as a hydrating and brightening concentrate, it blends cica, peptides, and PDRN into a lightweight gel that’s both cosmetically elegant and physiologically active. This formula hydrates and lightly firms, but what really sets it apart is the subtle but unmistakable glow it leaves behind—a finish rarely achieved at this price point. At $20 for 50 ml, this is a standout value that clearly outperforms its bracket.Branding veers from purpose to excess: a mostly clinical-looking box (roughly 1.4 x 1.4 x 6 inches) conceals a simply designed yet unexpectedly glam silver pump. It occupies an unusual space within K-beauty—neither the playful gloss of mid-tier K-pop aesthetics nor the streamlined clinical polish of near-luxury dermaceuticals. From a Western lens, the look reads as aspirational or as stodgily channeling its inner Coors Light® or Lone Ranger—or perhaps both, depending on your age. And yet, a different kind of bullet appears on the box to deliver key information—indications, instructions, and ingredients—clearly listed in both Korean and English.Mixsoon layers its actives with care. Peptides provide targeted support for elasticity and skin barrier repair, while Centella Asiatica appears in multiple forms—leaf, root, and isolated triterpenes—signaling a focused approach to calming and recovery. PDRN (Polydeoxyribonucleotide), a salmon DNA-derived compound, likely drives the soft brightening effect; it’s recognized for its regenerative and dermal repair benefits. Hydration is handled with depth: niacinamide, a range of hyaluronic acid derivatives, glycerin, betaine, and propanediol create a robust humectant backbone. Supporting botanicals include Pinus Pinaster Bark Extract, a potent antioxidant often used to protect against environmental stressors, and Adenosine, which contributes mild anti-wrinkle effects through skin-calming and cellular signaling. While overall balanced, the inclusion of Ethylhexyl Palmitate and Sorbitan Oleate may raise comedogenic concerns for acne-prone users. The strawless pump dispenses a clean, opaque white gel. There’s a mild sting on application—likely from hydrolyzed sponge spicules—but the sensation is brief. The finish is clean and non-sticky, with no white cast or greasiness, though a soft occlusive quality helps retain moisture. The scent is minimal: a gentle herbal-cica base with a faint floral undertone, likely imperceptible to most. Skin is left deeply hydrated, soothed, subtly firmed, and—after a few uses—noticeably more radiant with a PDRN-induced glow. With performance that leans clinical and a glow that feels biologically earned, Mixsoon’s Hydrashot succeeds where many K-beauty serums settle for surface-level appeal. Thoughtfully formulated, cosmetically stable, and quietly effective, it delivers on its claims with a level of consistency and refinement rare at this price point. It earns 5 out of 5 stars for ingredient integrity, usability, and that elusive lit-from-within finish—a quiet powerhouse that deserves a place in any results-driven routine.INCI with common names: Water (Aqua), Dipropylene Glycol, Glycerin, Glyceryth-26, Niacinamide (Vitamin B3), Betaine, Butylene Glycol, Propanediol, Sodium Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Polyisobutene, 1,2-Hexanediol, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Hydroxyacetophenone, Hydrolyzed Sponge, Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, Polyglyceryl-10 Oleate, Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside, Sorbitan Oleate, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Ethylhexylglycerin, Xanthan Gum, Adenosine, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Disodium EDTA, Tromethamine, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hyaluronic Acid, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Sodium DNA, Caprylyl Glycol, Sodium Phosphate, Centella Asiatica Extract, Centella Asiatica Leaf Extract, Centella Asiatica Root Extract, Pinus Pinaster Bark Extract, Asiatic Acid, Asiaticoside, Madecassic Acid, Madecassoside, sh-Oligopeptide-1.
